it absorbs through the grass its self. treating unplanted dirt is not going to be very effective. follow directions as follows and you will be satisfied. applying later in the day when it cools down before sunset it will have a better chance of soaking in.

Yes, it is safe to use where your dogs may eat the grass. Though there is nothing toxic in the product that would harm your dog, we still recommend that you keep them out of the area until it has dried.

In most cases one application of Weed B Gon Plus Crabgrass Control should be sufficient. A repeat application maybe required in 2 to 3 weeks for hard to control weeds. Wait one day between Liquid Turf Builder Lawn Fertilizer and the Weed B Gon Plus Crabgrass Control. It does not matter which order they are applied.

Question

Liquid Turf Builder and St. Augustine grass

After reading about the product on Scott's web site I went out and bought it earlier today. Just before I attached it to my hose I decided to read the product information in the packet attached to the bottle. Inside it states not to use on St. Augustine grass. However, it makes no mention of this fact on the web site.

Will this product damage St. Augustine grass or not? Here in Houston, TX the predominant grass is St. Augustine and I am looking for a hose end liquid fertilizer to regularly feed my lawn. Help!
