As long as your grass type is listed on the label, then your lawn should recover. Discoloration is usually a sign of stress to the grass, which could be a result of heat, lack water, insects or over application. Typically, given enough time, the grass will recover once ideal conditions return. If over application is a possibility, water when rain is not expected. Water about an inch a week for 2-3 weeks and this will help encourage the lawn's recovery.
