Label indicates up to 3 weeks. I started seeing results in less that 1 week! It says not to mow the grass for a week or soo but if you mow high and are not cutting off the weed head it will be Okay! Try using a little dawn in then mix. It helps to stick to the Oxalis.

Question

Should I put this weed killer down 1st or Step 1 fertilizer?

I bought both today (April 3rd) and have active weeds in my yard near Philadelphia. It's not 60 degrees yet, however the forecast is for 60 degree temps to arrive next week. Should I put down the Step 1 and then follow later with this weed killer or the reverse?? Also, is there a number of days or weeks that I should wait between applying one or the other?

The timing of the crabgrass preventer is important. We suggest applying that first then waiting at least 1 week to treat any existing weeds with the Ortho Weed B Gon Chickweed Clover and Oxalis Killer.

This product can not be used on or around ornamental plants. It will kill the ice plant. We do not have a product that would selectively kill clover and not the harm the ice plant.

Question

Can I mix Weed-B-Gon Chickeed, Clover and Oxalis with Weed-B-Gon Max?

I would like to mix Ortho Weed-B-Gon Chickweed, Clover, and Oxalis Killer with Ortho Weed-B-Gon Max. The reason for this is to get the benefits of Triclopyr, which is not an active ingredient in Weed-B-Gon Max. I found old mixing instructions online, but I want to make sure the old instructions are still applicable.

Even though the products contain similar active ingredients, there label directions are very different. Both have different dilutions, target weeds, and locations they can be used. Ortho Weed B Gon Chickweed Clover and Oxalis killer is formulated to kill chickweed, clover, creeping Charlie, ground ivy, speedwell, and other tough weeds without harming the lawn. While Max Poison Ivy & Tough Brush Killer is not labeled for use on lawns and is formulated to kill brushy weeds. The final dilution rate of the Triclopyr when mixed as directed for Ortho Weed B Gon Chickweed Clover and Oxalis Killer will be much less than the final dilution rate of Ortho Max Poison Ivy & Tough Brush Killer Concentrate.
